Teen Drug Use

A national study confirms teen drug use trending in wrong direction: Marijuana, Ecstasy use up since 2008. After a decade of decline, a new study released by The Partnership at Drugfree.org and MetLife Foundation indicates a dramatic increase of teen use of marijuana and Ecstasy. There was a 67% increase in the number of teens who admitted to using Ecstasy in the past year and a 22% increase in marijuana use.   2. This is a serious problem and parents do need to take a more active role in their childrens' lives. There is so much peer pressure facing teens that they very often give in and try things they shouldn't.
