About 10 to 20 percent of breast cancers are triple-negative, but most people have never heard of it before. Triple-negative breast cancer needs a different kind of treatment than other breast cancers because they are estrogen receptor-negative, progesterone receptornegative and HER2 negative. Chemotherapy has been shown to be the most effective treatment for triple-negative breast cancer. Margie, thanks so much for posting Jennifer's interview on your blog. I was very moved...I am so happy she is cancer free. She is a beautiful and strong woman, and inspirational to so many. And I really like her hair too... The new growth is very attractive on her. Deb
