I'm a little late with this, but I found some great information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about November being National Diabetes Month. The CDC page has some useful information on diabetes, plus they link to other resources. Since diabetes has become such a problem, you should definitely take the time to look over the information.
